I grew up in the Midwest, Rockford, Illinois. I'll keep searching and maybe we will come up with something. Cho Cho Bars were VERY delicious. Patty

Hi Patty, Thanks for responding to me post on the Discussion Forum. No I haven't had any luck either. No one, except yourself has replied to my post on Cho Cho Bars. There must be people, (other than you and I) that had them and someone must have a recipe. I also did a search on the internet with no results. They were so good, weren't they? Well, if I get any responses, I will post the information here, and if anyone has a recipe, I'll put it on my website under Frozen Desserts in My Recipe Book on this website. Good luck, and who knows maybe someones will know something. Where did you grow up at, if you don't mind me asking. I grew up in San Francisco, and I thought maybe they might be a local treat of some kind. Sincerely, Diana Diana's Desserts

Hi Diana, I remember Cho Cho Bars from the 50's very well. I really loved them and purchased them from the corner candy store. I have searched off and on through the internet to see if anyone else remembered them or had a recipe but haven't been successful until your post. Have you had any results? Patty

Hi, This is Diana from this website. I am looking for a recipe for as I call them "Cho Cho Bars". I had them when I was a child in the 50's. I remember having them at school where they would sell ice cream in small individual sizes like Eskimo Pies, and Ice Cream Sanwiches, etc. These Cho Cho's were a malted flavor ice cream or ice milk that came on a stick and the Cho Cho's were circular. They were wrapped in paper (no plastic wrap back then), and you would roll the Cho Cho in the palms of your hands to soften the ice cream, so you could remove the paper and eat the ice cream. If anyone remembers these, please let me know, and if anyone has a recipe for them, or a "Malted Flavor Ice Cream", or frozen dessert, I'd really appreciate you sharing it with me. Thank you in advance. Diana Diana's Desserts Website.
