I eat cho cho's any time I want. I've been eating cho cho's all summer and fall and now I have lost a taste for them. Dreaming of the past is okay if you have nothing else but dreams but I have cho cho's anytime so I've forgotten about the past. http://webstarts.com/richcreations/

Hey T, Thanks for the memory, as usual. We had our summer place at Camp Meeker. Remember the great hot dog place...I think it was Monte Rio. Started with R. Ah OH off topic. Oh we had Cho Cho's in Camp Meeker... I think. Happy Thanksgiving! Mimi

aha ChoChos, a summer-winter delight. my Grandmother (RIP) gave us, I was a twin, a nickle on Sunday morning after mass to buy a Cho Cho from the corner grocery store. In San Francisco, every intersection had at least one it seemed. When you picked out your Cho Cho you dug deep in the freezer for the coldest ones, then warm it up by rubbing it between your hands. This was in the 1940s. We had a summer home in Guerneville on the Russian River, a small grocery next to deSmit's Resort had Cho Chos too.

Wrongnumber, thanks for posting! Pretty cool picture that you referenced for the address. If you own a Ford automobile today, is it an immatation because it isn't a 1903 Ford?

Hey Wrongnumber, email me if you wish. I graduated from MHS in '65. Got my Cho Chos from the butcher shop in Compton, where I grew up. Was the Purity truck connected with the Purity Dairy Bar? Don't let the turkeys get you down.

Scary isn't it? Too bad but it seems that a stroll down memory is a no no. I am so sorry but it is what it is.

Go here http://gallianoparfait.livejournal.com/5529.html and this is what we had in Mendota Ill. When I was 8 or 9 years old I knew the driver of the "Purity Ice Cream" truck, and about once a week we would catch him at the neighborhood store and con him out of a couple of free Cho Chos.
