aha ChoChos, a summer-winter delight. my Grandmother (RIP) gave us, I was a twin, a nickle on Sunday morning after mass to buy a Cho Cho from the corner grocery store. In San Francisco, every intersection had at least one it seemed. When you picked out your Cho Cho you dug deep in the freezer for the coldest ones, then warm it up by rubbing it between your hands.
This was in the 1940s. We had a summer home in Guerneville on the Russian River, a small grocery next to deSmit's Resort had Cho Chos too.

Hey T,
Thanks for the memory, as usual.  We had our summer place at Camp Meeker.  Remember the great hot dog place...I think it was Monte Rio.  Started with R.  Ah OH off topic.  Oh we had Cho Cho's in Camp Meeker... I think.  Happy Thanksgiving!  Mimi

I eat cho cho's any time I want.
I've been eating cho cho's all summer and fall
and now I have lost a taste for them. Dreaming of the past is okay if you have nothing else but dreams but I
have cho cho's anytime so I've forgotten about the past.

Cho-Cho Bars - before my time, I guess?  But you said they're ice cream bars, http://www.goodygoodygumdrops.com.au/shop/cart.php?target=product&product_id=760&category_id=58 , doesn't look like an ice cream bar to me!

I tried the recipe.  The recipe is for the Cho Cho not the Cho Cho Bar since I saw the Cho Cho cup picture?  Along the way this web site switched to the Cho Cho.  I see NOW that it was intended for the Cho Cho Bar.   They were not at all the same.  I liked the recipe for the Cho Cho.  I didn't like the Cho Cho Bar of the 50's.  So people should be aware that this site does discuss two different ice creams.  I never realized that until a few months ago.

Engineer3,
The Cho Cho's have been found months
ago. Haven't you read the comments? Nobody is looking
for anything like what you linked to. Are you a troll?
or
maybe you had too much to drink for the New Year?
