Hi: I made a cake over the weekend which called for sour cream but did not have any butter or marg. in the ingredients. It came out terribly, like a rubber tire. (It was an internet recipe for a peach bundt cake.) I am wondering if this is because there was no shortening and if I should avoid recipes with only cream or sourcream and no shortening. I have made two butter cakes lately that have been very successfull. Heather
