Hi Diana and baby516, Finally I was able to publish my recipe. What a relief! Please go to my web http://jodelibakery.netfirms.com/ to find out this recipe at the top of the update list. Diana, I hope you could advise me on how to improve the recipe, if you have any idea, like the texture, flavor, aroma etc. Diana, please also suggest how pandan juice can be substituted for visitors that do not have access to pandan leaves. 2 tsp of pandan essence with 250ml water? Hope you will like it.

Hi Jo, Thank you for the note on the Pandan Waffles. I will (and others) will anxiously be awaiting your recipe. If you like, you could always Submit your recipe on my website first, as I am not having any server problems at the moment. Do you have a digital camera, or a photo of the waffles? If so, you could email me a photo to put with the recipe. If not, we'll wait to see your recipe on your website. Let me know, ok. Sincerely, Diana Diana's Desserts Email: diana@dianasdesserts.com

Hi, Diana, Oh I see, you meant this kind of waffle. I am going to come out with the recipe for this Pandan Waffle, but I am afraid it will take at least a week before I could find the best combination of ingredients. This waffle is very common in Malaysia too. I was surprise to know that they are people in the western countries who are interested in it. I will post the recipe here after the trial and error session .......

Hi Jo, I have just looked on your website at the Kuih Dadar, but no these are not the same as what we call here in the US, waffles. Here is a recipe and photo of American style waffles on my website. Click below to bring you to the recipe. http://dianasdesserts.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/recipes.recipeListing/filter/dianas/recipeID/1558/Recipe.cfm The person who told me about the coconut-pandan waffles said she used to get them from a vietnamese bakery in San Jose, California. She would like the recipe. I have never seen or had them, so I'm not totally sure of what they look like. She did say that she was going to buy a "waffle maker" (an electric waffle iron), so I am assuming they look like American style waffles. Sincerely, Diana Diana's Desserts

Hi, diana and baby156, We may refer to this kind of dessert differently in South East Asia, but do you mean a kind of dessert where coconut filling is wrapped in Pandan waffle/pancake roll? I have the photo and method of preparation in my baking website. Please go to http://jodelibakery.netfirms.com for Kuih Dadar (Coconut Pancake Rolls). Hope this is what you want.

Hi, I have been trying to find a recipe for the Pandan flavored or Pandan-Coconut flavored waffles but so far I haven't found one yet. I assume you could just make the waffles with pandan extract and coconut flavoring or flaked coconut. I will continue with my search for the recipe. Since I live a hour's drive from San Francisco, can you tell me what Asian stores have them. Sincerely, Diana Diana's Desserts
