I am looking for a recipe for Apple or Pineapple (or cherry) pie slices - the kind you make in a 15 x 10 sheet pan and have frosting on them. Have tried a couple recipes and just cant seem to get the crust right. Have tried with eggs and/or real lard but something is wrong. Also do you use fresh or canned pineapple (chunks or tidbits). My mother used to make these (many years ago) and I never paid any attention and she didn't have a recipe. Would appreciate any help or recipes you have -
