Posted By Discussion Topic: Need a recipe for Pie Slices     Carolyn616 10-19-2009 @ 7:44 AM                                 Member Posts: 1 Joined: Oct. 09 more info  I am looking for a recipe for Apple or Pineapple (or cherry) pie slices - the kind you make in a 15 x 10 sheet pan and have frosting on them.  Have tried a couple recipes and just cant seem to get the crust right.  Have tried with eggs and/or real lard but something is wrong.  Also do you use fresh or canned pineapple (chunks or tidbits).  My mother used to make these (many years ago) and I never paid any attention and she didn't have a recipe.  Would appreciate any help or recipes you have - Carolyn nikki 11-15-2009 @ 12:23 PM                                 Member Posts: 20 Joined: Mar. 08 more info  Not 100% sure that this specific item is listed but try http://www.kingarthurflour.com there are some spectacular recipes on their site.
