The ingredients are

2 1/4 cups sifted cake flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 pound sweet butter
2 cups sugar
4 large egg yolks
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup sour cream
4 large egg whites

Do I need to include the mixing method?

Thanks,

Annette

I make cakes from scratch that people order and I am having a problem with my yellow cake being moist.  I have a good butter cream frosting for the cake but the cake needs some work.  If someone has a tip I can add to or substitute in my cake or even a better recipe

Thanks,

Annette
