I've always froze egg whites for a latter use.

How long will egg whites last in the fridge? Can I freeze it for later use?
I like to make cream pies and usually get leftover egg whites. I usually cook the leftover egg whites for breakfast but would like to know if I could save it for later use in a different dessert.
Thank you.
