Hi All,
I am not sure I am going to get it made as lovely as it looks on that photo so I rather not cut the dough in stripes, is there anything I should consider/remember in this case??? Thanks for your help!

Hello Ouizer,
I don't see why it would be too difficult for beginners to execute a decent lattice top. Below are links to helpful info on making lattice top pies. Alternatively, you can simply cover the pie with crust. Just be sure to make slits or cut out holes for steam to escape' otherwise, the crust will implode on itself causing it to crack.
