  A quick and easy recipe I wanted to share. You can use the normal sandwich bread or you can used home-made bread. I always used home-made bread because I can have a thicker base to go with the topping. Here is  a Bread Machine White bread which I used for the Speedy Pizza



Speedy Pizza


4 thick ( slighly more than 1/2 inch thick) slices of bread ( you can used the white or wholemeal bread)

4 tbsp mayonnaise

1/2 cup of tomato puree

3 tsp dried oregano

1 big  onion, grated ( you can put 2 if you like)

4 sausages, sliced thinly

some canned pineapples ( slice thinly )

enough mozzarella cheese

some olives



Method:

Preheat oven to 180 C ( 356 F)

Combine tomato puree , oregano and onion in a small bowl.

Spread mixture over bread, then spread mayonnaise on top of it.

Evenly distribute sausages,thinly sliced pineapple mozzarella cheese and olives over it

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until it is light brown in colour. If you like it to be more crispy give it a few more minutes.



Note: You can have other toppings other then sausages. I like mine with bacon and ham and pineapple. A friend told me she used  marjarom instead of oregano and it is just as good.  


Bread Machine White Bread

227 gm / 8 fluid oz
1 tsp salt
14 gm / 1/2 oz  butter / margarine
340 gm / 12 oz bread flour
1 tbsp milk powder
3 tsp castor sugar
1 tsp instant yeast

Method:Place ingredients in the bread pan in the order listed . Use basic(dark) setting.
