Shirley's Bon Bons

Ingredients: For Coconut Bon Bons: 1 pound powdered sugar 14 ounces (of 16 ounce package) flaked coconut 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 1 can sweetened condensed milk For Chocolate Coating: 12 ounce bag chocolate chips 1/2 bar of parafin wax, OR Chocolate Coating or Dipping Chocolate for making candies (usually in chips that you can purchase through baking and candy supply stores) |
Instructions: For Coconut Bon Bons: Mix together all ingredients except for the parafin wax and the chocolate chips. Chill. Roll into 1-2 inch balls. For Chocolate Coating: Melt the parifin wax and the chocolate chips together in a double boiler (if using chocolate coating, melt in a double boiler, and dip coconut bon bons in chocolate, and put on waxed paper). Dip coconut bon bons into chocolate mixture and drop onto wax paper. Let set. |

I've been searching for the recipe for chocolate covered strawberries, I made them years ago and they were great, somehow in all of the moving I did, I lost the recipe. Thank you for yours.
