Comments: If desired, omit OREO Pie Crust. Prepare as directed, pouring whipped topping mixture evenly into 6 chocolate crumb tart shells. Let each child create a Jack O'Lantern face on their own pie. |
Ingredients:  1 cup boiling water 1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jello orange flavor gelatin 1/2 cup cold water 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip non-dairy whipped topping, thawed, divided 1 Oreo pie crust (6 oz.) 10 pieces of candy corn 1 piece black licorice (9 inch), cut into 1-inch pieces |
Instructions: Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1 hour or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites). Add 2 cups of the whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Spread into crust. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Just before serving, decorate pie with remaining whipped topping, candy corn and licorice to resemble a jack-o'-lantern face. Store leftover pie in refrigerator. Makes 8 servings. |
