Hi
I have been looking around for a strawberry cake recipe that allows you to start from scratch without using a cake mix, but can't find one. Anybody's got an easy strawberry cake recipe (without frosting) to share?

By the way the siz of my pan is 9 x 13 inches

Please let me know if this is a cake you'd be interested in making. It's quite good, and you don't have to make the icing if you don't want to. Although the icing is easy to make and is also very nice.

Thanks for the recipe. One question: Could I use egg whites in place of the whole eggs? Also could I add 1 packet of strawberry jello for extra flavour?

Hi Juststarting,
I don't see any reason why you couldn't use just the egg whites although your cake may not rise as high.
As far as the strawberry gelatine, I've never done that so I don't know what to tell you. Try it and see what happens.
