I am wondering if I can add a hazlenut spread to the chocolate mousse (Nutrella is a brand name of this spread/paste I believe) in this recipe:

Also, I am wondering if I can add a cinnamon/sugar mixture to the wontons instead of just a sugar coating.

Anyone????

Thanks!!  Smile

Hi,

I'm not sure if you mean Nutella or if you really mean nuTRELLA. If you mean Nutella (which is a brand of chocolate hazelnut spread), adding it to chocolate mousse should be fine, coz I did that just the other day and it worked out wonderfully (I would watch the amount you add though, coz it may thicken the mousse a bit). However, perhaps it's not such a good idea to add it to WHITE chocolate mousse, coz it'll no longer be white.

If you really mean just a pure hazelnut spread, I personally don't think it should be a problem; though, since I've never tried, don't take my word for it. But again, i think the addition of the spread will vary the colour and consistency of the mousse slightly.

Hope this reply isn't too late!
