Hi again, Just wanted to let you know I have a Peanut Butter Fudge recipe on this website and it's gotten very good reviews. There's no vinegar or corn syrup in it but it's really good. It's a recipe by Alton Brown of the Food Network: Peanut Butter Fudge http://www.dianasdesserts.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/recipes.recipeListing/filter/dianas/recipeID/2821/Recipe.cfm I'm glad I could help.
Sincerely, Diana Diana's Desserts

Thank you for the reply, the ones without the chocolate were just what I was looking for. I had the original recipe several years ago, it has gotten smudged and some parts are unreadable. It is a very good recipe.

Hi sheers01, I have found several recipes for Peanut Butter Fudge on the internet using Karo Syrup and white vinegar as part of the ingredients. Here are the 5 recipes. They are all similar to each other, a couple have chocolate added to them: PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE Ingredients: 4 cups granulated sugar 2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa 2 tbsp. Light Karo syrup 1 tsp. white vinegar 1 cup evaporated milk 1 pint marshmallow fluff 1 pint peanut butter Preparation: Combine first 5 ingredients in heavy saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil, boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat, add marshmallow fluff and peanut butter. Mix well. Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Cool to set. PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE II Ingredients: 1 tbsp. white vinegar 2 cups peanut butter 2 tbsp. Light Karo Syrup 4 cups granulated sugar 1 cup evaporated milk 2 cups marshmallow creme Preparation: Add together vinegar, Karo syrup, sugar, and milk into heavy saucepan and bring to a full boil for 4 minutes (no longer, no less). Remove from heat and beat in peanut butter then marshmallow creme unti well blended then pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Cool and cut into desired piece size. PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE III Ingredients: 4 cups granulated sugar 4 ounces butter 1 cup evaporated milk 1 tbsp. white vinegar 1 tbsp. Light Karo syrup Preparation: Mix together in saucepan and boil for 6 minutes. Pour above mixture over 1 1/2 cups peanut butter (crunchy type is best) and 16 ounces of marshmallow cream. (I have found 13 ounce jar and 7 ounce jars. One 13 ounce jar or two 7 ounce jars work fine.) Stir until thick, then pour into greased pan. This recipe makes about 5 pounds of fudge. Peanut Butter Fudge IV Ingredients: 4 cups granulated sugar 2 tablespoons Light Karo syrup 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate 1 teaspoon white vinegar 1 cup evaporated milk 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup marshmallow cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon butter Instructions: Stir together the sugar, corn syrup, chocolate squares, vinegar and milk. Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Stir until well mixed. Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and cool. Irene's Fudge Ingredients: 4 cups granulated sugar 4 ounces butter 1 cup evaporated milk 1 tablespoon white vinegar 1 tablespoon Light Karo syrup 1 1/2 cups crunchy peanut butter 16 ounces marshmallow cream Instructions: Mix together first five ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat for six minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over peanut butter and marshmallow cream in a bowl. Stir until thick, then pour into greased pan. When cool, cut into desired pieces. I hope one of these recipes is what you're looking for.
Sincerely, Diana Diana's Desserts
