Thanks Diana for the friendly welcome! I got your email and I am very pleased with the Amish Friendship recipes for the starter. I really appreciate the help. You and your website are the greatest! Very helpful and friendly. I will submit the pound cake recipe shortly.

I will try and find a recipe for an Amish Friendship Bread starter, and if I do, I will post it under "My Recipe Book", under the Breads category.
Also, we would love to have you share your Grand Mother's Pound Cake recipe. Just go to any page (except for the Discussion Forum pages), and click on Submit a Recipe, and type it in. When I receive it through my email, I will post it on my site under Guest Recipe Book, under the Pound Cakes category. I will also try and find a photo to go along with your recipe to place with the recipe.

Hi,
I'm a newbie here and I hope to get to know everyone.
My question is, does anyone have the recipe for the
Amish Friendship Bread Starter? I have some of the recipes for things to make with the starter, but I have lost my starter recipe. It has years since I have used it and haven't the slightest idea where to begin. I also like to bake cakes,etc. especially pound cakes. I have a really good recipe that my grandmother had that will just melt in your mouth if you're interested.Text
