Hi Diana, Had called the NJ company on the ovalette and was told that they do not sell them. Could you please let me know where I can purhcase them in the States? I would also like to know where I can purchase bread improver. Is it the same as bread enhancer?

Hi Mahbaby, I don't know where you can purchase Ovalette in the United States. I'm sorry I can't help with this. I don't think bread improver is the same as ovalette. You can find Lora Brady's Bread Dough Enhancer online at Cooking.com. Bread Dough Enhancer http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodli.asp?Keywords=bread+dough+enhancer Good Luck and please let me know if this is what you're looking for. Sincerely, Diana Diana's Desserts

Thanks Diana for replying. It was on the discussion board that was mentioned about NJ company that sells the ovalette. I wanted it for the steamed sponge cake.Thought you might know of another company or a store that I can purchase it. I do appreciate your help.Glad to know that dough enhancer is the same as dough improver. Now I can be confident in purchasing the Lora Brady brand. Thanks again.

Hello, I am a little late, but I was just reading a post, & Bread Dough Enhancer is mainly used for Whole Grain Breads, & White Loaves with added seeds,& grains, etc. You can use it in oatmeal & rye loaves also, they have it in the bakers catalogue.com by Lora Brody. & you can also get it in some healthfood stores. Hi NatCat, Thanks for taking the time to inform me of the bread enhancer. Yes, I've checked King Arthur and it's not the type that I am looking for. Well, no matter, I still find that w/out it I am still able to have soft bread. ![]()
