I have just made a pound cake using culinary lavender - it seems there is quite a lot about it on the web. The recipe I used was from Better Homes and Gardens and the I purchased a small container of dried lavender from Pelindaba, a lavender farm on the West Coast. It is very light and has a delicate flavor, a bit like gingerbread but lighter. If you are not already into the lavender thing, I think it's worth trying out a lavender recipe. Heather Heather
