Hi, I'm a pastry faced young lad and I want to do something special for my girlfriend's birthday next week. Trouble is, I burn water when boiling eggs. Any tips on something simple but tasty I could impress her with? She particularly likes Carribean food, so I was thinking of doing something with those brown root vegetable thingys. I've even forgotten they're name! See, told you I was useless!  Dough, a thing that maketh bread!
