Topic: Sticky Bun Coffee Cake

I dont understand how to *put* this recipe together. On the picture, it looks like the dough/cake is rolled out flat with a rolling pin. Then you top it with the caramel and streusel. Once this is done, it looks like you roll it into a log form and cut it up. Place the pieces close together and bake. I hope I make sense.
Is this correct or am I missing something or misunderstanding something?
Thanks in advance.

Warmly,
Ingrid

  Hi Ingrid,

Have you read the instructions for the cake? If not, click on the picture of it and that will take you to the recipe.

This is not a cake that is made with a "dough"; it it a cake that is made with a cake batter (no yeast), a caramel and streusel topping. There is no rolling of the dough, as there is NO dough, just batter. The picture may be misleading, and if so, I am so sorry. It does look like pieces are put close together, but actually it's a whole cake.

I think you'll like this cake, especially if you like sticky buns or cinnamon rolls. It's yummy!

Please let me know if you made it, okay?

Sincerely, Diana

  Hi again Ingrid,

I have replaced the photo of the Sticky Bun Coffee Cake with another photo which represents the cake much better, so now you should see what it really looks like.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely, Diana
