Ingredients:
3/4 cups granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 can (15 ounce) 100% pure pumpkin
1 can (12 fluid ounces) evaporated milk
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Instructions:
Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs in a large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar/spice mix. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees F for 15 minutes; then reduce temperature to 350 degrees F, and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes. Insert knife or toothpick near center of filling. If it comes out clean, then it's done. Cool for two hours. Serve immediatley or refrigerate.
Makes 8 servings.
