Malteser Traybake

This is a quick and very easy recipe and one that kids and adults will find highly addictive!

100g (approximately 1 stick/3.5 oz.) butter
200g/7 oz. milk chocolate
3 tbsp. golden syrup (Karo Light Corn Syrup may be substituted if you can't find Golden Syrup in the US)
225g/8 oz. finely crushed digestive biscuits (graham crackers may be substituted for the digestive biscuits in the US)
225g/8 oz. Maltesers candies (or Whoopers or Malt Balls can be substituted for Maltesers in the US)

Melt together the butter, chocolate and syrup, then add the crushed biscuits and the Maltesers. Mix together quickly then pour into a lined swiss roll tin (jelly roll pan) and chill until set. For a special occasion drizzle with some melted white chocolate.
