Lemony Buttermilk Ice Cream

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh lemon juice
3 cups light corn syrup
2 quarts buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons grated lemon rind

Garnish:
Fresh Strawberries, fresh mint sprigs

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients, and pour into the freezer container of a 6-quart hand-turned or electric freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Top each serving with a strawberry and a fresh mint sprig.
