Jack O'Lantern Pie

Servings: 8
If desired, omit OREO Pie Crust. Prepare as directed, pouring whipped topping mixture evenly into 6 chocolate crumb tart shells. Let each child create a Jack O'Lantern face on their own pie.

1 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jello orange flavor gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip non-dairy whipped topping, thawed, divided
1 Oreo pie crust (6 oz.)
10 pieces of candy corn
1 piece black licorice (9 inch), cut into 1-inch pieces

Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1 hour or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites).

Add 2 cups of the whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Spread into crust.

Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Just before serving, decorate pie with remaining whipped topping, candy corn and licorice to resemble a jack-o'-lantern face. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.

Makes 8 servings.
