Ingredients:
Pie:
24 (2 cups) chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 quart (4 cups) mint chocolate chip ice cream, slightly softened
Garnish:
Chocolate-flavored syrup
Heavy whipping cream, whipped, sweetened, if desired
Instructions:
Stir together crushed cookies and butter in medium bowl. Press on bottom and up sides of 9-inch pie pan. Freeze until firm (10 minutes).
Spread ice cream over crust. Cover; freeze until firm (6 hours or overnight).
Just before serving, drizzle pie with chocolate syrup. Garnish with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
Makes 1 (9-inch) ice cream pie, 8 servings.
