Chocolate Chip Oreo Muffins

Servings: Makes approximately 12 muffins

I'm a HUGE Oreo fan, constantly searching for recipes containing these divine cookies. These muffins are chock full of chocolate; absolutely divine. The amount of Oreos and chocolate chips can be reduced for a healthier and less sweet, but still delicious muffin!

Ingredients:
1 large egg
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup Oreo cookies, crushed

Instructions:
1. Beat together the egg, milk and butter.

2. Stir in the remaining ingredients except the Oreos.

3. Fold in Oreos; batter will be lumpy.

4. Spoon into greased/lined muffin tins and bake at 400 degrees F (200 C) for 15-20 minutes.

Makes approximately 12 muffins.
