Ingredients:
Cake:
1 stick (1/2 cup/4 oz/113g) butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Topping:
1/2 cup granulatd sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch (23cm x 33cm) rectangular baking pan.
In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients and set aside.
In a bowl, cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda. Beat until combined.
Pour HALF of the batter by large spoonfulls into prepared pan. Sprinkle HALF of combined topping ingredients over batter in pan. Spoon remaining batter in pan, followed by remaining topping mixture. Bake in 350 degree F (180 C) oven for 25 minutes.
Makes one (9 x 13-inch) cake.
