Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:  6 cups of all-purpose flour 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda 1 3/4 baking powder 3 cups granulated sugar 2 sticks (1/2 pound butter) butter 3/4 cup all purpose shortening 3 eggs ( large) 2 ounces water 1 tablespoons vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips |
| Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Grease cookie sheet pans. 3. Sift flour, baking soda, and baking powder together. Set aside. 4. Place sugar, butter and shortning in bowl, and cream together untill light and fluffy 5. Add eggs slowly. 6. Add water and vanilla extract slowly. 7. Mix flour mixture into the butter mixture and combine. 8. Stir in chocolate chips. 9. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto the greased cookie sheet pans about 1 inch apart. 10. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or untill lightly golden brown. Makes 4 dozen cookies. |
