O'Henry Bars

Easy to make and easy to eat!

Ingredients:
4 cups oatmeal (rolled oats, regular or Quick Cooking)
1 cup melted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 12 oz. package chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups peanut butter

Instructions:
For the Bars:
Mix the brown sugar, oatmeal, corn syrup, and melted buter IN THE 13X9 INCH PAN! After mixing well, pack the mixture into the bottom of the pan very well. Bake at 350 degrees F for ONLY! 12 minutes. It will look undone. Let cool for a half an hour.

For the Frosting:
Melt the chocolate chips and the peanut butter in a saucepan, stirring very frequently. Do not burn this mixture. Pour over the bars and refrigerate for about 3 hours. Cut in 2x2 inch squares, and serve.
