1 cup peanuts, raw
1/2 cup Karo Light Syrup, or white corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbls. unsalted butter

Put back in oven and cook 2 more minutes. Remove from microwave and quickly stir in baking soda, and pour into ungreased cookie sheet. Shake cookie sheet from side to side to spread brittle as thinly as possible. Let stand until cold and hard, about 2 hours. Break brittle into pieces.
