Comments: I've gotten more compliments on this fudge than I ever have on my time/work intensive old fashioned fudge. My new holiday tradition. |
Ingredients: 1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips 3/4 (of a 12 ounce bag) butterscotch chips 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract Nuts (optional) |
Instructions: Place all ingredients (except nuts, if using) in a saucepan at once and heat on medium stirring constantly until melted completely, approximately 5 minutes. Stir in nuts, if using. Poor immediately into an 8 x 8-inch square brownie pan lined with wax paper, parchment paper or aluminum foil. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour. Flip out upside down and cut into 18 small cubes with large knife. Store covered in an airtight container at room temperature. Makes 18 pieces. |

It sounds good but what happens if you don't have the butterscotch or chocolate chips? Will it still make fudge?

My son's friends enjoyed the fudge. I'm the popular mom now at they're school.
