Easy Chocolate Cake

Very yummy and easy to make.

Ingredients:
1 cup self-raising flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 cup caster (or granulated) sugar
2 extra large eggs
1/2 cup milk
125g (1 stick plus 1 tbsp./4 1/2 oz.) butter, melted

Instructions:
Grease and line a 20cm (8-inch) round cake pan. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F/moderate oven).

Sift flour and cocoa into a mixing bowl and add the sugar, eggs, milk and melted butter. Beat for three minutes with an electric mixer. Put the mixture into the prepared cake pan and bake in preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until cake tester inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Let cake cool in pan for 15 minutes, then invert cake onto a wire cooling rack and let cool completely. Serve cake at room temperature.

Makes 10 servings.

it didnt taste very nice, not much flavour. no icing doesn't work either.

I used brown sugar instead of white.The cake turns out dark, moist and delicious- everything a chocolate cake should be.
