Apple Rolls

Ingredients: ![]() 1 package (10 rolls) frozen crescent rolls, thawed Apples, peeled, cored and quartered 2 cups granulated sugar 2 cups water 1/2 cup orange juice 1 stick (1/2 cup/4oz/113g) margarine |
Instructions: Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch glass (Pyrex type) baking dish. Spread quartered apples onto crescent rolls and place rolls fold side down onto melted margarine in baking dish. In a medium saucepan bring sugar, water and orange juice to a boil and pour over folded rolls. Cover rolls with foil and bake at 400 degrees F (200 C) for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake until brown at 300 degrees F (150 C). Serve warm. Makes 10 apple rolls. |
