Servings: Makes Two 9X5 Inch Loaves

Comments:
The buttermilk in this Banana Nut Bread makes it very moist and delicious........

Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1 cup oleo margarine, or unsalted butter, softened
2 eggs (beaten)
6 ripe bananas (mashed)
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt
3/4 cup of buttermilk
1 cup finely chopped walnuts

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease two 9X5 inch loaf pans with cooking spray (PAM is good). Mix all ingredients together, adding walnuts last. Pour into greased loaf pans.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Remove from oven, and cool on rack for 10-15 minutes. Invert onto serving plate.
