Very Tasty!!

A Note from Diana:
If your family likes apples, try this very easy apple pastry the next time you need a very yummy and quick treat.

Ingredients:
1 package (10 rolls) frozen crescent rolls, thawed
Apples, peeled, cored and quartered
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups water
1/2 cup orange juice
1 stick (1/2 cup/4oz/113g) margarine

Instructions:
Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch glass (Pyrex type) baking dish.

Spread quartered apples onto crescent rolls and place rolls fold side down onto melted margarine in baking dish.

In a medium saucepan bring sugar, water and orange juice to a boil and pour over folded rolls. Cover rolls with foil and bake at 400 degrees F (200 C) for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake until brown at 300 degrees F (150 C). Serve warm.

Makes 10 apple rolls.
