Here's a recipe for Chocolate Ganache that is quick and easy, and can be used for topping many desserts.
4 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
1/3 cup whipping cream
PLACE chocolate and cream in small heavy saucepan; cook on very low heat just until chocolate is melted, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; cool completely. (Ganache thickens as it cools.)
Makes: 1/2 cup.
Use ganache as a rich filling or frosting or spoon into piping bag and use to decorate cookies or gingerbread house.
