Best Chocolate Frosting for Brownies

This is the most lucious, creamy chocolate frosting for topping your brownies................Diana

Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter or margarine
4 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
6 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups confectioners sugar

Instructions:
In a small saucepan, heat the ½ cup butter or margarine, the 4 Tbsp. cocoa, and the 6 Tbsp. buttermilk. Remove from heat, pour into bowl, add the 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 cups confectioners sugar. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. If mixture is too stiff, add a little more buttermilk, 1 tablespoon at a time.
Frost brownies when cooled completely.

Makes enough to frost 2 dozen 3-inch brownies, or one 9x13 inch pan of brownies.

I had a party to go to and all my friends tasted this delicious frosting and said this is scrumptious and they asked me what was the recipe and I told them, they said it's so simple but good.

TASTE & CONSISTANCY JUST GRAND. WE'RE ONLY TWO AT HOME, AND A LAYER CAKE IS TOO LARGE, THIS IS JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT FOR A 9X13 PAN. I ALSO FROZE 1/2 OF WHAT I MADE, AND ON DEFROSTING, THE FROSTING WAS STILL YUMMY....

Never frosted brownies before but I was in a chocolate mood so I frosted a pan of brownies. This recipe is fabulous and adds something special. Won't make brownies without this frosting.
