A great ice cream recipe that involves no cooking, and is made without eggs. It is made with half-and-half and cream. It is an easy and classic vanilla ice cream..................
2 quarts half and half cream
1/2 pint heavy cream
1 1/2 cups white sugar
4 teaspoons vanilla extract, or one 3-4 inch vanilla bean
split lenghtwise, and seeds scrapped into ice cream mixture
1/8 tsp. salt
Combine half-and-half, cream, sugar, vanilla and salt in freezer container of
ice cream maker. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.

What do you mean by Half and Half?
Half and Half is a product we have here in the USA. It's half milk and half cream. You find it in the dairy section of the market. If you can't get half and half where you live, just use 1 quart whole milk and 1 quart cream for this recipe.....Diana, Diana's Desserts
