Ingredients:
2 cups water
1 cup (2 sticks/8 oz./226g) butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
8 eggs
1 container of vanilla ice cream
Ready-made store bought Chocolate syrup

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400ºF/200ºC.

Boil water and butter in a small saucepan. Add flour and stir briskly over low heat until a ball forms. Remove mixture from heat. Using a spoon, beat in eggs one at a time. Mix until smooth. With a spoon, drop dough onto ungreased pan 3-inches apart. Bake 35 to 45 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove from oven, set aside to cool.

When cream puffs have cooled, slice in half. Place a small scoop of ice cream between the two halves. Drizzle cream puffs with chocolate syrup.

So easy (except for perhaps beating in the eggs...)! And just how I remember my favorite cream puffs from my childhood.

The dessert did not work with the 8 eggs, but with 6, then it was to perfection, take my advice, I mean it's not like that you own 200 restaurants around the world just saying.

Forget the chocolate syrup. Make a nice thick ganache with 35% cream and good quality chocolate~ Yum much better. The basic choux dough is fine as is.

To the lady who said it's not like you won 200 restaurants WTF is your problem? Very rude and uncalled for when someone goes the the trouble of keeping this up for people to use. Very ungrateful and uncalled for.

To whoever runs the show...I am a real chef (De moura Way Winery) and I look around the net for inspiration and your site is very good.
