Ingredients: 1 cup fresh blueberries 1 cup 1 % milk 1/2 cup plain yogurt 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup ice cubes |
Instructions: Starting with liquids, combine all ingredients in blender until smooth. Serve in a summertime glass with a straw, garnished with 2 or 3 fresh blueberries. Nutritional Information Per serving: 141 calories (592 kJ), 24 g carbohydrate (62%), 7.5 g protein (21%), 3g fat (17%).This recipe is suitable for heart smart, low fat and diabetic diets. |

I used International Coffee "Hazelnut" coffee milk since I didn't have any sugar. This made a delicious lunch after a work-out on a hot day.
