Ingredients:
1 store bought angel food or pound cake
6 cups sliced strawberries* (see note below)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup hot water
1 carton (8-ounce) frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
1. Cut cake into 10 pieces.
2. For strawberry topping, mix together strawberries, sugar and hot water.
3. Serve strawberry topping over cake and garnish with whipped topping.
*Note: Strawberries may be substituted with other fresh fruit, or a combination of different types of berries if desired.
Makes 12 servings.
