Awful, awful, awful. Far, far too sweet and kind of chocolate chips not specified, so I had to guess. I ended up throwing it out.

I made this pie earlier this evening and it was really good. My only complaint would be that the pie is INCREDIBLY heavy and hard to move prior to baking and it catches you by surprise. Great pie though.

Yuck! This recipe doesn't state which type of chocolate to use, which should have been an indication not to try it. I went against my better judgement because of a good review, which was a mistake. Everything was wrong with this pie. It was so sweet it could not be eaten. The texture was disastrous. The custard split into three separate layer, an eggy bottom, an watery chocolate mess, and a weird crunchy top. We threw this out after not being able to finish a single slice.
