Comments:
This version of whipped cream is sweetened a bit with confectioners' sugar. If you don't want your whipped cream sweet, just leave out the sugar.

Ingredients:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons confectioners' (icing) sugar*
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:
The heavy cream, a small bowl, and beaters should be thoroughly chilled before starting.

Beat the cream with an electric mixer (or hand mixer if you don't have an electric mixer) until soft peaks form.

Blend in sugar and vanilla and beat until stiff peaks form. Do Not Over beat!

Makes 2 cups whipped cream.

*Note:
If you don't want sweetened whipped cream, just leave out the confectioners' sugar.
