Strawberry-Rum Fudge Balls

Ingredients:
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 6-ounce package semisweet chocolate morsels, melted
3/4 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 teaspoon rum flavoring
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup strawberry preserves
1/2 cup almonds, toasted and finely chopped

Instructions:
Beat cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Add melted chocolate, beating until smooth. Stir in with wooden spoon or rubber spatula vanilla wafer crumbs and preserves, and rum and vanilla flavorings; cover and chill one hour. Shape into one-inch balls; roll in chopped almonds, and chill. Store in refrigerator.
