Servings: Makes 3 dozen (3- inch) cookies

Comments:
These are the best cookies you will ever have. They are better before they harden, but if they do harden, stick them in the microwave for about 13 seconds and that sould make them chewy again.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup Butter Flavored Crisco (solid shortening)
1-1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
1-3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 C).

Cream the Butter Flavored Crisco shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Blend until creamy. Blend in egg.

Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture, gradually. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop rounded measuring tablespoonfuls of dough 3 inchs apart on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees F (190 C) for 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies.

Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes. Transfer cookies from baking sheet to cooling rack and let cool completely. Enjoy!

These cookies were good but too sweet. Too much sugar. It tastes like a cookie that is made with a lot of sugar.
