These are like a pecan pie to go! I make these bars on Thanksgiving and Christmas! You must try them!

Ingredients:
Crust:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick/4 oz/113g) cold butter

Filling:
3 eggs
3/4 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup of Karo dark corn syrup
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

Combine flour, brown sugar and butter until crumbly. Press mixture in prepared baking pan, bake 10-15 minutes. Combine filling ingredients and pour over crust and bake for another 20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack. Cut into bars.

Makes 6 dozen bars.
