Hi,

I was just wondering if I could use this recipe for my cookie press?

Thanks for your time and wonderful recipes Diana.

Oh, one last thing. If I don't have any almond paste on hand, can I substitute it with almond extract? And if I can, what changes do I have to make to the recipe?

Thank you again.

Great recipe, and for the love of god, do not use almond extract in place of almond paste (Marzipan). You could use ground almonds mixed with corn syrup with a touch of rose water or orange juice. Make sure it makes a thick paste.

Looks delicious Diana. Wonder if, (i'm not a sweets person), I can cut down on some of the sugar in the recipe? Will it affect the texture of the cookies? Many thanks!
