Easy Shortbread Tart Crust

Servings: Makes one crust for 9 or 10-inch tart

This buttery shortbread tart crust dough can be frozen for up to a month for making your tart later, or bake now with filling of your chocie.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup ( 1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter

1/3 cup confectioners' sugar

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions:
Blend ingredients to make a soft dough. Pat into a 9 or 10 inch tart or pie pan. Prick crust well with fork. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 15-20 minutes. Fill and bake with your favorite filling, or freeze dough in plastic wrap for up to 1 month.
